Yahoo has Acquired Jumpcut, a San Francisco video-sharing start-up that offers consumers the ability to not only upload clips, but also to edit them online. Jumpcut is similar to Yahoo Video (and YouTube, Google Video, MetaCafe, Revver, etc…) in that it is a social video sharing site. The part that’s different than any other offer out there is the ability for users to edit their videos right on the web – or Remix others’. Yahoo’s plans likely involve integrating Jumpcut’s editing and Remix software with their own Yahoo Video. Yahoo said San Francisco-based Jumpcut, which will retain its brand name, will become “bunk-mates” with its other Web 2.0 services Flickr, del.icio.us, and Upcoming. Jumpcut also makes out well, gaining access to Yahoo’s 500 million monthly visitors. “As part of Yahoo, we’ll be working on bringing video editing and remixing to everyone with an Internet connection, ” Jumpcut said on its blog today.

Del.icio.us founder Joshua Schachter just posted in the del.icio.us blog that the service has registered its 1 millionth user.
Moreover he confirms it’s more than triple the number of users it had just nine months ago. Maybe acquired by Yahoo! may have brought some more users to Del.icio.us. The company was acquired by Yahoo! ten months ago, in December of 2005. I am quite used to use it for my bookmarking & I must say it’s quite a nice bookmarking tool . Nway congratulations to Schachter, del.cio.us and Yahoo! for passing this milestone in social bookmarking.. Infact I also feel excited to be one of the users… They were going to celebrate it’s 3rd birthday bash on October 3 at Yahoo!HQ at Sunnyvale & now I hope the party will be much bigger after crossing this milestone

Google Adsense is the best pay per click context based advertising programs today. Infact it can be said that Google adsense has really boosted webblogs & web publishers . There are many tips & tricks which helps to increase revenue .
Mainly there are some basic rules which has to be kept in mind. Firstly the theme & the content is very important. Niche sites generate more revenue as it is easier to achieve decent search engine placement for them.As the best way to increase revenue is through increased traffic & so the visitors will only spend time in your site only when your content is really interesting to watch out for .
Secondly before deciding the content check out how much the advertisers are paying for the advertisements. You can try out some free keyword trackers tools like this one http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/
Try to target keywords which are moderately priced as the market is quite competitive nowadays.
